Below is the video my group and I have made to bring our storyboard to life. This is only the basis of our film opening and we know that parts of the storyboard we may not end up using and may even replace parts of it with new ideas. However, it is definitely good that we have a storyboard that we can adapt if want to but don't have to.

Our Second Pitch
Due to the fact that my groups first pitch only got an amber light because it was too cliche. Therefore, we have changed our idea almost completely. We are now aiming for a two minute film opening of a crime thriller based in North London.
The simplified basis of our film is that a young man (played by Serine's brother) is involved in a deal that thinks is going to get him "in" with the local gang on his block. However, little does he know that gang he thinks are going to take him in have a different plan for him altogether.
Miss Foster our media teacher has given us the green light on this idea with the support of the rest of our media class. Looking back on our original idea my group and I can definietly say hands down this is a much better idea for our film opening than our original "stalker" based film opening.

Inspiration
When working together with my group and I decided to research some film openings and music videos which we could base our new idea off of. Below are the two main videos that really helped to develop our idea for our two minute film opening.
Robbery-Abra Cadabra
This music video is great in terms of inspiration for shots and camera movement. As a group we have already agreed that we want to recreate an incorporate a lot of the close up shots in our film opening. This video also helped us to confirm the idea that the main character gets double crossed by people he thinks are going to let him into their "gang".
The Intent
This trailer ties in really well with the idea we have for our film opening. We understand that we aren't making a trailer for the film but a lot of the action that occurs in this trailer are what we are wanting to create on a simplified level.

Art of the Title
Art of the Title is a website that has loads of title sequences from a various amount of films. This is extremely useful for me because we are making a two minute film opening the title sequence always comes within the first two minutes of a film. Therefore, as my group and I are going to have to include a title sequence this is the perfect website to get some ideas and inspiration for our own two minute film opening.
The Affair
This tittle sequence strikes me because they have used such mundane items and actions, yet they all come together to produce a wonderful opening. It's simple yet effective and its the simplicity in this sequence that I think my group could bring into our two minute film opening.

Boardwalk Empire
This title sequence has a range of various shots, camera and editing techniques which when put together have created a sequence which flows perfectly. Their use of shots and techniques are something I think my group could benefit from learning from and/or including in our own film opening.

Napoleon Dynamite
This title sequence is extremely simple and easy to recreate, but in a way I think that is what makes it unique and successful. This could potentially be the basis or our groups title sequence but with our own spin on it to make it unique and more relative to our chosen genre.

The Night Of
I chose this title sequence because I like the way the titles were in simple basic font but the way the appeared and disappeared matched perfectly with the action going on in the scene and the camera movement. For example if the camera produced a pan shot the writing would come on and leave in the same direction as the camera was moving. I think this title sequence would be good to take inspiration from.

You've Got Mail
This title sequence intrigues me because the way they've established the film using the idea on what the rest of the film is about. The sequence starts animated and then switches to real life, this is mainly because the film is based on two people emailing and not yet meting in real life. I really like the way they have managed to incorporate the basis of the film within the title sequence but still leaving the audience with multiple questions.

Location Inspiration
We have chosen this estate in Edmonton, N18 to film our two minute film opening because we wanted our location to match the stereotypical gang scenery. The estate is dull and is seen to be rough council housing which matches our chosen theme. One of the film inspirations we looked at as a group was Anuvahood, the drama in this film is also based on an estate which again ties in with our theme and storyline.

Below are a couple frames from the Anuvahood film which we may or may not use for the shots of the gang in our own film opening.
