Reaction Video:One

Below is the reaction video to the first minute of our two minute film opening by a group of students in our class and our media teacher Miss Foster.

Film Day Three: 14th December 2016

Today we had to got through measures to get some of the shots we wanted for the getaway car scene one of which shown on the left. Serine is standing in a shallow Tesco trolley that we found near by hold the tripod at its maximum height, with myself keeping the tripod steady and together with Ellie keeping the trolley stable so that Serine was safe. Overall, today went pretty well and we think this should be the last time we film any footage for this two minute film opening.

Decision On Our Accompanying Sound

We have now decided as a group to use accompanying diegetic sound of Ludovico Einaudi - In un'altra vita. We believe this is the better option because it is something different and not seen in many movies, but the movies it has appeared in has gad a great impact on the audience and that is what we are looking to achieve in our film opening.

However, this is a famous piece of music and therefore copyrighted by the composer so we are unable to use the original in our film opening as we do not have permission from the rights holder.

So to come over this obstacle we are going to record Serine's cousin playing this piece on the piano, her cousin is an amazing pianist so hopefully we'll be able to get it as close to the original as we possibly can.
